Who are you?
You are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers and financial accuracy. You thrive in a collaborative environment where your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities contribute to meaningful financial decisions. We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team, where you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting key business operations, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and generating financial reports to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Analyzing invoices, processing payments, and assisting in the preparation of Form 1099 to maintain accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements, regulatory filings, and expense analyses to support financial oversight and compliance.
- Supporting fixed asset management, maintaining financial databases, and contributing to investment security reconciliations to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Developing sales tax reports and assisting with unclaimed property reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
- Identifying and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency in accounting procedures and workflow processes.
Requirements:
Education & Experience – You will need an associate's degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) in a directly related field AND one 1-2 years of related experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
