Responsibilities
- Two . Tax Managers have responsibility for the management of tax accounting / forecasting activities that represented $130 million federal tax risk and $36 million state tax risk (2 year avg annual), and a Deferred Tax Asset inventory of 74 tax attributes valued at $354 million across 26 US legal entities (plus additional branches and US disregarded entities) with responsibility to be divided generally across segment reporting boundaries.
- The . Tax Managers will be required to manage a shared team of tax analysts for US / Canada 5-person team (3 Federal, 2 State) for the direct tax workstreams.
- Ownership and accountability for the execution of all tax-related entity level internal controls and SOX compliance activities for the United States, as determined by the Global Income Tax Director
- Actively identify and engage in on-going continuous improvement projects with the objective of simplification, standardization and automation.
- The US Tax Managers are responsible for the timely filing of 41 federal and 98 state annual direct tax compliance filings as well as managing tax audit activity for income taxes
- Provide leadership and oversight of the US Indirect Tax workstreams directly overseeing property tax and annual reporting requirements as well as indirectly overseeing sales & use tax operations
- Work closely with the CNH Transfer pricing team to proactively manage US cross-border tax risk
- Research and planning projects as-needed
Annual compensation range is $105,750-$155,100 (actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualifications for the role).
