The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners for the City of Country Club Hills is now accepting applications for the position of Entry Level Law Enforcement
Testing is being conducted for anticipated hiring needs and to establish a new eligibility list
The prime function of the Country Club Hills Police Department is the preservation of public peace and order, prevention and detection of crime, apprehension of offenders and protection of person and property. The responsibilities of the Department are to uphold the Constitution of the United States; enforce the laws of the State of Illinois and ordinances of the City of Country Club Hills

You must meet the following minimum requirements:
· Citizenship: Must be a citizen of the United States or an individual who has permanent resident status and is legally authorized to work in the United States. Must, under federal law, be authorized to obtain, carry, purchase or otherwise possess a firearm.
· Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License at the time of application with the ability to obtain an Illinois Driver’s License upon time of hire.
· Age Requirement: Applicants must have attained their 21st birthday at the last date for filing applications (4/30/25). Applicants must be under the age of 35 at the last date for filing applications (4/30/25) unless exempt by State Statute 65 IL 5/10-2.1-6, which provides in part that the age limitation does not apply to any person previously employed as a Certified (full-time) Law Enforcement Officer for a municipality in the United States.
· Education: Must have proof of High School Diploma, GED Certificate, or High School Proficiency Statement.
· Residence: At this time there are no residency requirements
