C.O.W.M. INC. (1902 S. Lumber St.) is a fast-paced Asian food & beverage wholesaler looking for a dedicated Fleet Maintenance Technician to take ownership of daily truck maintenance and inspections across our fleet. This role is essential to keeping our trucks and heavy equipment running smoothly, ensuring safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Inspections: Monitor truck interiors/exteriors, tires, brakes, lights (headlights, cabin, taillights, box lights), suspension (leaf springs, shocks), oil levels, and DEF fluid.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
- Repairs & Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, mechanical components (clutches, steering, transmissions), and other essential systems.
- Refrigeration Maintenance (Preferred): Ability to repair truck refrigeration units, especially critical in warmer months.
- Record Keeping & System Logging: Maintain detailed service records and log all maintenance in our system, requiring basic computer proficiency.
- Safety & Communication: Adhere to safety protocols and provide clear updates to management on vehicle conditions and repair needs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with truck/heavy equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks.
- Computer literacy to log repairs and track maintenance records.
- Refrigeration repair experience is a strong plus.

- 2 week paid time-off per year

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM (30min lunch)
