Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring and identifying critical control points (CCP) within the processes.
- Responsible for monitoring processes and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Responsible for the correct documentation and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation.
- Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
- Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
- Ensures and educates employees on quality expectations.
- Collect product samples for the Quality lab.
- Perform inspections on in-process printing to ensure quality and accuracy of the print according to customer specifications
- Identifying non-conformances and ensuring they are corrected “real time” when feasible.
- Working directly with Operations on the presses, slitter, lamination, etc. to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensuring paperwork is accurate and filled out in a timely manner on the production lines.

- Complies with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and any job or department specific SOP’s.
- SOP’s may cover the areas of (but are not limited to)
- Employee Health and Safety
- SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all packaging manufactured.
- Must work within productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
- Special Projects & other duties as necessary
- High school diploma required.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in printing, food or regulated industry with knowledge of GMP’s (21CFR 110/111/210/211).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package software is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- Self-motivated with proven leadership skills.
- Prior experience in food environment a plus.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must possess a positive “can do” attitude.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, effectively under pressure, and deadline-oriented environment
- Flexible availability; we work night and weekend shifts.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of information to Company and Federal standards.
