Goldbelt CP Marine is seeking a Technical Specialist to support the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions :
- Provide technical support in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems, applications, or networks within the organization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, conducting root cause analysis and applying effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the proper integration and performance of technical systems.
- Assist in the design and development of technical solutions, ensuring they meet organizational and project requirements.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Support the development and deployment of new technologies, tools, or systems, ensuring smooth implementation and transition.
- Conduct system monitoring and performance testing to identify inefficiencies, recommending improvements where necessary.
- The technical specialist works under the supervision of a senior technical specialist.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
