Growing insurance agency is adding to their team. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will provide complete support for commercial clients in all areas of Property & Casualty insurance, ensuring retention and growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with Agency Principal, Producers and team members to provide excellent client support
- Manage and grow an established client base acting as their point of contact
- Acquire new business by identifying opportunities in the local market
- Understand and promote all products offered using all possible marketing tools
- Prepare new business and account renewal submissions for marketing and proposals to obtain competitive coverage/cost ratios for clients
- Be proactive in bringing forward suggestions for changes in procedure, process or planning to improve the client experience.
- Be a center of knowledge on industry news, changes in regulation and market trends.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or previous experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance
- NYS Property & Casualty Broker’s License
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Must be a good multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude with the ability to deliver excellent service and resolve client issues
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
