Job Description:
The Construction Superintendent role is key to the productivity of our Construction Business. This role is responsible for the execution of assigned projects and has the most direct control over the success of the project. Superintendents are responsible for customer management on site, manpower scheduling, materials staging and quality control. The Construction Superintendent must be involved in every aspect of the project from understanding the estimate through close-out / commissioning. They provide technical guidance for their staff to include training as required. Safety is a top priority and must be at the forefront of all project executions.
Customer satisfaction is extremely important and can be achieved through building relationships, strong leadership skills and quality execution of the proposed work. Building relationships with each of our customers and ensuring we exceed their expectations are key to our success. The long-term growth and profitability of our construction business can be achieved by these relationships with repeat business.
Managing the projects to execute at better than estimated margins is the goal on every project. Making sure that we are ahead of any unforeseen issues and have a plan for recovery when they occur is paramount.
