Our scope of work includes complex highway construction projects; private and public site development; asphalt paving from parking lots to interstates; cement stabilization of soils and reclamation of roadways; sewer and water system construction; installation of all manner of drainage systems; and hot mix asphalt sales. Job Description
A driver in this capacity would be expected to work approximately 50-55 hours per week, 5-6 days per week, hauling grading and paving equipment in support of our construction operations out of our Florence location. Experience with a lowboy truck is preferred; but, we are willing to do internal training for otherwise qualified candidates.
Job Requirements·
· Valid Class A CDL without restrictions
· SCDMV Driving record in compliance with our internal scoring system
· Be familiar and compliant with regulations related to your CMV
· Perform, document, and report a full pre & post trip inspection daily
· Flexibility with work hours due to project schedules
- Work as instructed to safely load and unload construction equipment
- Be able to routinely handle steel chains and binders, which can weigh 75 lbs.
- Be able to safely climb on and around equipment and trailers.
· Perform duties in a professional, safe, and timely manner
