Here’s What You’ll Get To Do

• Responsible for loading of metal bundles, doors, and other products onto trucks.
• Prepare the metal by putting lining or padding material to protect items during shipment.
• Pack and load items according to shipping needs, orders, or supervisor’s specifications with minimal supervision.
• Ensure accuracy for orders.
• Use shop floor computers and RF equipment for completing clerical duties.
• Conduct inspections, examine products to ensure specifications for quality are met.
• Handle needs of will-call customers and vendor drop offs (FedEx, UPS, and our trucks).

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• Ability to speak, read, and understand English to understand and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Individuals willing to work overtime as needed, as well as Saturdays depending on need.
• Individuals with strong internal drive for success.
• Collaborate and maintain professional relationships.
• Problem-solve independently or in a group environment.

Physical Requirements

• Be able to lift 75 lbs unassisted or up to 150 lbs in a team lift.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment.
• Ability to work in hot/cold environments in a warehouse-type settings.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours (or more) wearing approved steel-toed boots.
• Ability to twist, turn, squat, climb, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.
