Project Manager

Job Description

CFD is a Phoenix-based design and advertising agency looking for a Project Manager. This person will be joining a small, dynamic team of artists, designers and strategists who pride ourselves on working with clients who take on big problems. We live at the intersection of design, media and advocacy and the Project Manager is expected to work closely with the entire creative team to manage the work flow, track project progress and scheduling meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of project management experience working with creative teams in an advertising or creative agency
• Experience working with multiple teams on various-scale projects
• Outstanding Project Management, particularly when it comes to leading the creative development process
• Expert multi-tasker, with proven effectiveness working under pressure
• Ability to organize information quickly and at a high level
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Role & Responsibilities:

• Leads weekly status meetings with the entire CFD team
• Provides daily project updates and sets priorities for the CFD team
• Manages CFD project management platform 
• Leads project(s) kickoff, presenting key deliverables, initial creative briefs, timelines and budgets
• Monitors project budgets and schedules daily
• Catches project scope creep
• Accountable for staying within agreed upon budget/timeline and informing the Partners and team of any changes to scope/assumptions/issues that arise
• Manages and updates project work schedules for the team
• Identifies and proactively resolves any deliverables that might fall behind schedule
• Manages final quality control checks of all client deliverables (e.g., follows ad specs, client requests, etc.)
• Responsible for the consistent successful facilitation of project(s) from estimation through launch and maintenance
• Supports the development of new and existing client project proposals
