Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead our Research Based Behavior Health Treatment (RB-BHT) services in North Carolina. The Clinical Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of RB-BHT services, including developing treatment plans, and providing supervision to RB-BHT staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, expertise in behavior analysis, and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with behavioral health needs.
Please note, our practice is expanding to Union County and the successful candidate will have to have the ability to commute to the Union County Office.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Supervision:
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to RB-BHT staff, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other behavioral health professionals.
- Conduct orientation sessions for new staff members on the principles of behavior modification and the role of the Behavior Intervention Support Specialist Consultant.
- Collaborate with staff to develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and clinical observations.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Provide training on behavior management techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and de-escalation procedures.
Treatment Planning:
- Lead the development of comprehensive treatment plans for individuals receiving RBBHT services, incorporating behavior analysis principles and evidence-based interventions.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze behavioral data to inform treatment planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with in-house multidisciplinary teams, including Associate Level Clinicians, Qualified Professionals, Registered Behavior Technicians/ Behavior Technicians, to ensure coordinated care and integration of treatment goals.
- Ensure treatment plans are aligned with regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies and procedures.
Staff Supervision:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of RB-BHT services, including staff scheduling, caseload management, and program coordination.
- Provide training and supervision to RB-BHT staff on behavior analysis techniques, intervention strategies, and documentation procedures.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth and excellence in service delivery.
- Address staff concerns, conflicts, and performance issues in a timely and constructive manner.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, behavior analysis, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current Clinical Mental Health licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in behavior analysis and behavior health services, with a focus on developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Prior experience in supervising and mentoring behavioral health staff preferred.
- Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, Behavior Modification Techniques and evidence-based interventions for individuals with behavioral health needs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards, cultural competence, and continuous quality improvement in service delivery.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
