C&S has an immediate opening for a part-time, temp-to-hire Accounting Consultant in Jefferson City.

Salary/hours for Accounting Consultant: $28-$30/hr.; 20-24 flexible hours per week in office between the hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday

Responsibilities for Accounting Consultant:

• processing accounts receivable and accounts payable
• coding and entering invoices
• monitoring and making fund transfers as needed
• coordinating audit field work schedule
• entering payroll/accruals into QuickBooks
• compile quarterly financial statements
• complete and file 1099-MISC, 1099-S and W-2’s annually
• monitoring and coding grant payments
• reconciling bank and investment accounts

Requirements for Accounting Consultant:

• previous accountant/accounting experience
• QuickBooks knowledge preferred
• ability to perform duties with high degree of accuracy
