The Role:
As an HR Generalist, youll play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace environment, ensuring our team members feel valued, supported, and equipped to excel. Youll work closely with leadership and staff, ensuring our HR operations run smoothly while championing a culture of excellence and engagement. The HR Generalist will be responsible for onboarding, assisting with training, and retention of our amazing team members. This role involves supporting HR functions such as employee records management, benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. They will also collaborate with leadership to address workforce needs and assist with implementing HR initiatives that align with the companys goals. Your responsibilities will include:
HRIS & Payroll Function
- Assist in the maintenance of our HRIS system, including customization, development, and maintenance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HRIS users, manage permissions and system settings.
- Compile and assist with acquiring complex data reports for senior executives and HR staff.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Efficient payroll processing, including tracking, reconciling, and resolving adjustments.
- Coordinating payroll deductions, withholdings, and garnishments.
- Monitoring time and attendance reports.
Field Support & Employee Services
- Serve as a partner to our field leadership team to provide guidance on human resource issues and on strategies to develop, engage and retain the workforce.
- Partners with leaders to develop their teams to achieve maximum performance; assist in the drafting and execution of coaching and discipline forms if necessary.
- Coaches leaders on how to manage complex employee situations.
- Partner with hiring managers to create exceptional new hire onboarding experiences.
- Administer pre-employment assessments and post-employment exit interviews. Support new hires with pre-employment activities, including background checks and drug screenings. Responding to requests for Verification of Employment (VOEs).
- Act as first point of contact for employee questions, and support HR initiatives such as benefits enrollment, audits, HRIS and time clock data integrity, internal communications, etc.
- Responds to employee inquiries and complaints; conducts workplace investigations and provides recommendations for next steps and resolution.
Communication & Compliance
- Maintain effective and professional communication through phone, email, and written correspondence. Provide excellent customer service to the entire employee base.
- Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
- Proactively leads focus groups and roundtable discussions to engage employees and solicit feedback.
- Participates in annual performance management process including 360s, evaluations, and employee status changes.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to Human Resources matters.
- Champion HR initiatives in support of an employee-focused culture with an emphasis on quality, key employee retention, change management and continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in human resources or a related field preferred or a combination of relevant work history and education.
- 4 Years of progressive HR experience required. Experience supporting a dispersed workforce a plus.
- Experience processing payroll efficiently.
- Experience with HRIS systems, Paycom experience preferred.
- PHR, SPHR or similar HR certifications preferred.
