The Role:
As a Strategic Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence in the industrial water treatment industry. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and growth objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key personnel, decision-makers, and influencers at customer and prospect accounts.
- Designing profitable pricing strategies to boost sales and margins.
- Driving growth by identifying new opportunities and delivering strategic proposals.
- Understanding customer operations, identifying challenges, and providing effective solutions.
- Collaborating with internal teams and field representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Facilitating the startup and transition of new business to front-line account and service teams.
- Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to provide effective solutions.
- Contributing to team development through mentoring, training, and recruiting efforts.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
- 7-9 years of successful B2B industrial water treatment sales experience, with a track record of growing revenue year over year.
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%) and work in diverse environments, including boiler houses, cooling towers, and water treatment plants.
