We are seeking to add a Concrete Finisher to our team to support our continued rapid growth within the utility industry. This role is a field-based position, located in the Metro Atlanta and/or surrounding areas. The qualified candidate will support the project management needs in the field. Under the direction of the Project Foremen and Superintendents, this role will Control movement of vehicular traffic through construction projects. This role will also perform tasks involving physical labor at construction projects.
The role will be reassigned to another project located in Metro Atlanta and/or surrounding areas upon completion and will support the needs in the field. Our office is located in Norcross, Georgia.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The basic function of a Concrete Finisher is to help in the completion of construction projects by doing either concrete work or other assorted job-site duties to satisfy our customer base as required (following through with your responsibilities with respect to projected time, weather and other variable issues as deemed necessary to satisfy our customer’s expectations.) Conduct the concrete or other related construction duties assigned per established procedures. These duties include but are not inclusive of: Concrete Finish work, laying/removing forms, laying rebar for concrete pour, staking and other duties of the General Laborer assigned. The incumbent is expected to meet quality standards by adherence to the established procedures.
- Safety and effectively control traffic around the job site and traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.
- Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Clearing debris or digging with a shovel
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
- Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
- Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
- Other duties as assigned

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to work in and around a highway or roadside construction area and heavy equipment. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving traffic and mechanical parts and equipment. Employee will be exposed to dust and fumes from cleaners, gasoline, diesel and exhaust. Most work will be performed in a roadside / highway setting and employee will be exposed to ongoing traffic while working. Employee will work outdoors, and will be exposed to the weather, including extremes in heat and cold and rain.
