We are seeking an energetic, proactive Logistics Supervisor to join our team. Driven by high standards, the Logistics Supervisor is an integral part of the team, ensuring that transportation, inventory, warehousing and distribution of products and materials are efficiently, and cost effectively coordinated. The Logistics Supervisor must develop mutually beneficial relationships with our shipping vendors, establishing and maintaining internal and customer-driven expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain management. A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience, is required. Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations to control, deliver, and distribute products and materials to their destinations.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound traffic, including scheduling deliveries and managing transportation providers.

- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient storage and distribution of goods.
- Oversee the receipt, handling, and storing of components in appropriate locations.
- Perform inventory counts and ERP data corrections.
- Supervise and manage logistics staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all employees are aware of their job duties and are cross-trained as necessary.
- Create a culture of disciplined execution and high professionalism within the team.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement technology solutions and best practices to enhance logistics processes’.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
- Assist with conveying materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas, when necessary.
- Assist with sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence (i.e. size, type, style, color, or product code), when necessary.
- Assist with labeling materials with identifying information, when necessary.
- Assist with customer deliveries and pickup from vendors, when necessary.
- Assist with daily TMH (Toyota) shipment pull, when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations governing the transportation of goods.
- Enforce safety guidelines, GMP requirements, and company policies within the logistics area.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Prepare reports on logistics activities and performance metrics.
- Create Standard Work Instructions and train upon accordingly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement to Management.
- Report any safety/company policy violations immediately to Management.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 2 years’ of Shipping/Receiving and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration (nice to have) .
Qualification Requirements
- Speak, read and write English.
- Successfully pass drug screen.
- Successfully pass background check.
- Experience in a continuous improvement environment.
- Forklift operator certified.
- Successfully pass DOT required tests and Driver’s License requirements.
- 5S and Lean Manufacturing experience required.
- Maintain a professional image for Customers, Vendors, potential Employees and visitors.
- Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts and draw a valid conclusion.
- Precise attention to detail with good organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math functions.
- Ability to demonstrate computer literacy and proficient ability with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Physical Demands:
- Stand, walk, push, pull, climb stairs and ladders, reach overhead and bend to the floor.
- Exert/lift to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
- Basic color perception, peripheral and depth perception, close vision of 20 inches or less, distance vision of more than 20 feet are required for reading reports and working on computers, etc.
