SUMMARY
The Passivation Technician is responsible for performing passivation responsibilities and supporting the overall mission of the organization. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: passivation, laser marking, part masking, dry filming, packaging, and quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
1. Passivate parts
2. Sandblast parts
3. Mask parts
4. Spray dry film on parts
5. Perform quality inspection on parts as instructed in the first article
6. Package parts
7. Learn other operations or technologies such as Visual, Fluorescent Penetrant, and other NDT methods
8. Work diligently, neatly, cleanly, and safely
9. Be disciplined and promote discipline in everything you do
10. Maintain a 5S workspace
11. Verify changes to production processes to confirm that the change implemented has been achieved without adverse effects on product conformity
12. Support alignment with company goals and objectives, safety regulations, company guidebook, quality and environmental standards, and all other company policies and procedures related to your role
13. Understand, follow, and implement ISO 9001 and AS 9100 systems and procedures
14. Assist the shop floor as needed
15. Assist with additional projects as assigned
16. Reports to personnel as described in the company’s organizational structure

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform the job successfully one must have strong organizational, prioritization, problem solving, multitasking, and decision-making skills. General knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred.
PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
High school diploma or GED required
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and/or Passivation experience preferred but not required
Safety / OSHA experience preferred but not require

Noise-reduction earplugs are available on the shop floor for those who need them.
Salary : $17 - $25
