What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant - Human Resources / Payroll position at C&S Sweeping?
We seek an entry-level Assistant to support our Human Resources & Payroll departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisted in managing HR functions for DOT drivers and monitoring ongoing compliance.
- Maintain accurate records for DOT drivers to ensure federal and state regulations compliance.
- Serve as a backup for payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Collaborate with the HR team to update employee records and comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing procedures related to DOT compliance.
- Assist as needed, with Certified Payroll reporting, including running reports and managing LCP Tracker.
- Take on other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in office administration.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements for drivers is a plus.
- Knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems; experience with QuickBooks is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team spirit.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
