Administrative Assistant - Human Resources / Payroll

 We seek an entry-level  Assistant to support our Human Resources & Payroll departments. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisted in managing HR functions for DOT drivers and monitoring ongoing compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records for DOT drivers to ensure federal and state regulations compliance.
  • Serve as a backup for payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to update employee records and comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procedures related to DOT compliance.
  • Assist as needed, with Certified Payroll reporting, including running reports and managing LCP Tracker.
  • Take on other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in office administration.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements for drivers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems; experience with QuickBooks is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team spirit.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
