• Provide friendly and attentive customer service as you oversee the day to day operations of the front end and supervise front end associates / cashiers
• Cultivate and maintain excellent customer relations and service levels, and ensure a friendly, professional, and well-organized image for the front end, vestibule, and parking lot
• Assist Customer Service Manager with selection, training, development, and scheduling of cashiers / front end associates
• Ensure proper product handling and that all legal / regulatory aspects of the front end are followed (i.e. alcohol / tobacco sales, WIC, food stamps)

• Special Skills : Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions

• Other : : Excellent communication skills and organization / prioritization skills, basic computer skills and / or the ability to learn how to operate a cash register, scanner, telephone system, and scale, and the ability to handle money and other forms of payment are also important.
