What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver - Type 3 with MedCard position at C&S Wholesale Grocers Inc?
1st shift, Monday-Friday - some weekends
Starting Pay : $24.50 per hour

You will Contribute By :
Complete vehicle pre-trip inspection report. Records required truck information and needed repairs.
Safely drive Company vehicles to make deliveries to various customers around the island.
Load delivery equipment into the truck; may load products / pallets into the truck
Deliver products to customers. Unload products to be received by the customer or check in products with the customer with the invoice; address discrepancies.
Pick up customer payments as needed. Pick up products when returning to the facility as needed.
Upon returning to the facility : clean the truck, submit signed invoices, and product returns.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Drive a box truck type of vehicle to transport and deliver products
Average stops 16-28 stops per day except for 2 days 5 stops only but heavy
Pallets can consist of all types of products
Maneuver the truck into the loading or unloading position
Weigh truck as needed en route and / or at vendors to document weight and conform to state / company regulations
Electronic logging according to I.C.C. regulations
Inspect the truck before and after trips and submit a report indicating the truck's condition
Read the bill of lading to determine the assignment

Store : Freezer (-20F to 0F)
Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)
Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)
Skills
Class C Driver's license with safe driving record minimum 1 year
Driving experience (preferably delivery driving)
