What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Payroll Specialist position at C&S Wholesale Grocers Inc?
The Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate reporting of payroll information for the company's warehouse employees; in addition to the reporting of information to warehouse management. The position will be responsible for a variety of general payroll tasks in the payroll department.
First shift - needing the flexibility to work any day of the week per business needs
Starting rate of pay - between $20 and $22 with experience
- Job Description
- You will contribute by :
- Maintain programs effectively and correctly, including WFM, Red Prairie, Workday, and Workbrain.
- Track payroll compliance issues.
- Ensure weekly warehouse payroll information is completed accurately and timely for transmission to the Corporate Payroll department.
- Follow approved procedures to correct any errors that may arise with employees' pay, to include hourly, salary, and incentive pay.
- Assess causes of payroll errors and recommend solutions.

- Specialized Knowledge : Knowledge and understanding of common payroll practices; the ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data; excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively
