Security Officer

Position Overview

As a Security Guard, you will secure and protect all company property including buildings, equipment and product inventory as well as all associates by maintaining control of traffic flow and access to the facility. You will respond to emergency situations with a sense of urgency and maintain open communication flow with management staff.

Job Description

• Full-Time, On-Site Role

• Location: 47 Old Ferry Rd., Brattleboro, VT 05301

• Schedule: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

You will contribute by:

• Documenting all inbound trailers arriving at the facility in the yard management system or paper log and directing them to the assigned door or pad.

• Documenting all outbound trailers departing the facility in the yard management system or paper log, ensuring the contents of all trailers are verified.

• Inspecting all vehicle trunks for products or company equipment before they exit the facility.

• Verifying employee IDs before granting access to the facility.

• Logging all visitors, notifying the appropriate C&S contact of their arrival, and granting access only to authorized individuals/vehicles.

• Completing all required electronic entries, paperwork, and reports as needed.

We’re searching for candidates with:

• Steel-toe shoes for safety compliance.

• Strong organizational skills to manage and maintain necessary paperwork.

• Ability to lift items as required.

• 0-2 years of experience in a security guard environment.

Environment

• Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

• Warehouse : Freezer (-20F to 0F)

• Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)
