Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in pipeline projects and a solid understanding of budgeting and contract management. The Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of construction teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Utilize construction management software, including ProCore, to track project progress and manage documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Review schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
- Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring that projects remain within financial constraints while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in construction management and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising construction projects, particularly in grading construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in using construction management software, specifically ProCore.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Experience using an ohmmeter for electrical testing is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
