C Spire is seeking a creative, energetic, and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our Commercial Sales team. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can effectively develop new sales opportunities and leads, open new doors, and create opportunities over the phone using ConnectAndSell, and other tools, in combination with Salesforce.
The ideal candidate will have experience in telemarketing with a propensity for developing and closing new business over the phone. The position will work hand-in-hand with our inside sales team and will be adept at building relationships with all field account managers.

- Business Development: Reaching out to develop new business opportunities via telemarketing and other methods.
- Renewals: Manage renewals accounts by leveraging our managed services solutions to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Inbound Marketing Leads: Engage with potential clients generated from marketing efforts to establish initial contact and qualify leads.
- Inside Sales Tasks: Help facilitate customer transfers of service while attempting to up-sell new services that fit with customer needs.
- REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of professional experience in sales, business development, or a related field required.
- Ability to learn and present managed services solutions and the IT industry landscape required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to learn and become proficient in Salesforce and other CRM software required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement business growth strategies required.
- PREFERRED
- Proven experience in the IT/managed service industry strongly preferred.
