Sales Representative - Power Generation Service
Compensation: Up to $120k Total Comp
- $60-80k Base Salary plus Commission with commission guarantee up to $40k.
- For maximum commission guarantee, candidates need a very thorough sales background within the industrial/mechanical industries.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and building relationships with potential clients your assigned market.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate customer power generation needs, recommend appropriate equipment or service solutions, and provide detailed proposals.
- Promote and sell a range of power generation products, including generators, backup power systems, and related accessories.
- Coordinate with service technicians to schedule maintenance, repairs, and installations, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, addressing questions about equipment specifications, performance, and compliance with local regulations.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to regional revenue goals through effective account management and closing deals.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in power generation technology to maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in power generation, industrial equipment, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of power generation systems (e.g., diesel, natural gas, or hybrid generators) and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory and surrounding areas.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills to address customer challenges effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Established network or industry contacts in your market’s commercial or industrial sectors.
- Experience with service coordination or project management in a technical environment.
