Installer/Warehouse Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Equipment Installer/Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves the delivery and professional installation of commercial kitchen equipment at various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with tools, assembling large equipment, and operating in construction environments. They will also package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, and experienced in inventory software and databases. They may also operate heavy machinery, or drive equipment, so a candidate with experience and a valid driver’s license is required. This position requires some travel, including overnight stays occasionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation tasks as assigned by the designated foreman.

Load, transport, unload, and uncrate commercial kitchen equipment.

Set equipment in place according to layout specifications.

Construct and install refrigerated walk-in units, metal trim, and other kitchen components.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper installation.

Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment at job sites.

Complete delivery tickets, work orders, and daily time sheets accurately.

Follow all company and site-specific safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Ensure proper care, maintenance, and operation of tools and company equipment.

Collaborate with team members, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support company needs.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, crawl, climb, and reach frequently throughout the workday.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs. regularly.

Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. overhead when required.

Exposure to varying worksite conditions, including temperature and humidity changes, dust, fumes, and moving machinery.

Comfortable working at construction sites and in confined spaces when necessary.

An ability to safely drive company vehicles and transport materials to job sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or G.E.D.

Basic proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, and carrying heavy equipment.

Valid driver’s license.

Successful completion of a background check required at specific job sites.

Must pass a Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) physical examination.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience reading and understanding blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Familiarity with metalworking tools, such as grinders, polishers, and welders.

Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical work.

Previous experience installing kitchen or commercial equipment.
