Job Summary : Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence & Applications Director with deep expertise in NetSuite, strong finance and accounting knowledge, and excellent technical and business acumen. The ideal candidate will bridge business units and technical teams, ensuring seamless integration of software solutions and effective use of data across the organization. This individual will drive operational efficiency and decision-making through advanced dashboards and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

  • NetSuite Expertise : Lead the optimization and customization of NetSuite to meet business needs, including software integration, configuration, and workflow development.
  • Finance & Accounting : Leverage knowledge of financial and accounting principles to ensure system alignment with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Stakeholder Interaction : Collaborate with executives, mid-level employees, and technical teams to gather requirements, provide end-user training on software, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Data Management : Analyze and implement dashboards to visualize, manage, and interpret data across cross-functional teams, enabling data-driven decisions.
  • Software Integration : Design and oversee the integration of NetSuite with other enterprise systems to improve operational efficiency and data flow.
  • Training & Support : Develop and deliver employee training programs to enhance software adoption and maximize its benefits.
  • Business Analysis : Work closely with business units to identify challenges, propose solutions, and implement best practices to achieve organizational objectives. Implement Business & Financial Systems analysis, design, and application support.
  • Industry Focus : Apply knowledge and experience in industries such as oilfield services, equipment rental, logistics, supply and distribution, and trucking to inform decision-making and system optimization.
  • Travel : Travel as required to Longview, TX, and Midland, TX for executive and other meetings, employee training, and project management.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Intelligence, Solutions Architect, Systems Architect or similar role.
  • Deep experience with ERP systems, NetSuite Preferred.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in software integration and workflow optimization.
  • Exceptional technical knowledge and the ability to bridge technical and business requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing and implementing dashboards for data visualization and decision support.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with executives, technical teams, and end-users.
  • Experience in industries such as oilfield services, logistics, supply and distribution, equipment rental, or trucking preferred.
  • Project management experience and certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP) are a plus.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Adaptability to dynamic and fast-paced environments.
