What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Recent Graduate: Entry Level Career Position position at C.W. Matthews Contracting Co., Inc?
This is an entry level position for a recent high school graduate who is interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry. Selected applicants will be placed in one of the company's operating divisions to begin their training in a construction trade.

The duties of this position are continually changing depending on the requirements of each project. The position consist of but is not limited to the following duties.
Flagging traffic;
Set up and maintenance of erosion control;
Loading and unloading of materials;
Shoveling and raking dirt, gravel, and asphalt;
General clean up around job site;
Checking and maintaining grade stakes;
Set up and maintenance of all traffic control aids;
Operating small equipment such as rollers and power brooms;
General maintenance of all equipment and tools.
Please note: All employment opportunities with C.W. Matthews REQUIRE that all applicants be willing to work SOME nights and weekends. Certain divisions work more nights and weekends than others.
