What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Class A Driver / Labor position at C.W. Matthews Contracting Company, Inc.?
Job duties are continually changing depending on the requirements of each project. The CDL Class A driver / Labor is expected to assist in the general operation of each job site. The driver is also required to maintain a valid class A Commercial Drivers License with Tanker Endorsement and DOT medical card. Truck Drivers must perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor. The position consists of but is not limited to the following duties :
- Qualifications
- Flagging traffic;
- Set up and maintenance of erosion control;
- Loading and unloading of materials;
- General clean up around job site;
- Checking and maintaining grade stakes;
- Set up and maintenance of all traffic control aids;
- Operating small equipment such as dozer, backhoe, rollers and power brooms;
- General maintenance of all equipment and tools.What CWM Offers You
