Job Overview
C&W Services is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Water Blast & Vacuum Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily tasks with efficiency and attention to detail, including vacuuming waste and spilled product, water blasting clean machines and areas, and lance cleaning lines and pipes.
- Provide sanitation and cleaning assistance as needed, utilizing knowledge of applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Assist in formulating standards and work procedures while performing duties, effectively communicating with supervisors and customers to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Maintain adherence to the published work schedule and be available to work overtime as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of industrial cleaning experience desired but not required, with a valid driver's license and ability to operate various equipment.
- Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools, as well as wear a respirator while performing job duties.
- Familiarity with confined spaces and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
Work Environment
The work environment is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and cold, wet and/or humid conditions, and very loud noise levels.
