This is a second shift position. The hours are Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 2:30p-11p and Sun 10:30a-7p (off Wednesday & Thursday)

Candidate will be responsible of team shift janitorial tasks during retail business hours and janitorial projects after building it's closed.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Clean all common areas in retail environment including restrooms, food court area, hallways and areas on a defined schedule.
• Cleans wet-dry spill on-demand and per request.
• Responsible for the overall upkeep of the property commons and other areas assigned to its team.
• Responsible for providing world class customer service by addressing the concerns and cleaning needs of our client in a friendly and professional manner.
• Reports any maintenance problems to the supervisor or building maintenance.
• Assists other co-workers to complete tasks in a safe and effective manner.
• Perform janitorial projects using powered equipment including carpet cleaning, floor care and other cleaning tasks.

COMPETENCIES:

• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment used to perform job duties.
• Experience cleaning in retail or commercial buildings preferred.
• Basic experience overseeing other employees to follow directions and handle tasks safely.
• Able to follow all Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures.

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE

• Janitorial projects experience will be preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional Retail environment. This role routinely uses standard powered cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, powered floor scrubbers, powered carpet cleaners and other cleaning equipment tools.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel from floor to floor, climb stairs, walk or stand for periods of time. The employee may also be regularly required to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, regularly use hands to operate cleaning machinery and regularly required to walk, talk, and hear. The employee is required to have the ability to exert up to 40 pounds of occasionally, lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
