C&W Services seeks an experienced Logistics Maintenance Specialist to lead maintenance efforts on electrical and mechanical equipment in the rapidly expanding logistics and fulfillment industry. The ideal candidate will have transferrable management experience and working knowledge of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 10-15 associates, ensuring Maintenance department objectives and key metrics are met.
- Allocate job plans, leveraging experience and judgment to achieve departmental goals.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to team members, maintaining high standards.
- Formulate standards and work procedures, providing feedback on work order discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee applicable codes, standards, and specifications for equipment and processes.
- Develop and implement QA/QC inspection protocol for work personnel and tasks.
- Act as a liaison between the maintenance team, Account Manager, Planners, Customers, and Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or a related field (preferred) AND transferrable management experience (3 years minimum; 5 years preferred).
- Reporting Key Performance Metrics (KPI) for a team of 10-15 associates.
- Working knowledge of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in the use of basic/power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, parts nomenclature, measurements, and fasteners.
- Ability to operate and knowledge of simple and complex heavy industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, scissors lifts, and boom lifts).
