Job Description Summary
A Water Blast and Vacuum Technician is required to maintain facilities in a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to work at heights.
Job Description
The Water Blast and Vacuum Technician will be responsible for operating water blast machines and vacuums to clean various areas of the facility. This includes vacuuming waste and spills, blasting machines and areas, and cleaning lines and pipes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate water blast machines and vacuums to clean areas of the facility.
- Vacuum waste and spills.
- Blast machines and areas using high-pressure water jets.
- Clean lines and pipes.
- Assist with sanitation and cleaning tasks as needed.
- Maintain adherence to published work schedules and be available to work overtime as required.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of industrial cleaning experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Able to work at heights.
- Able to wear respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances.
Work Environment:
The work environment will be fast-paced and physically demanding. The employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level will be very loud.
