Responsibilities
- Supervise drivers and ensure that they are following all safety regulations.
- Schedule drivers for routes and manage their time efficiently.
- Monitor driver performance and provide feedback to improve their performance.
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
- Ensure that drivers are following the company's policies and procedures.
- Keep accurate records of driver activities and performance.
- Communicate with customers to ensure that they are satisfied with the service provided.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proven experience in logistics and dispatching
- Familiarity with fleet management and transportation management systems
- Proficient in data entry and using multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of GIS and GPS technologies
- Experience with Oracle Transportation Management and AS400 systems
- Ability to analyze freight and supply chain processes effectively
