Emergency Consult Coordinator (1.0 FTE/Alternating Shifts)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Telephone Management Answers telephone and returns voicemails in a timely manner. Emergency Detention Order Execution Assists in the execution and completion of Emergency Detention Orders. Telehealth Assistance Assists Telehealth staff in the use of technology for conducting face-to-face as needed. Administration Completes all required forms including pre-authorization for admission. Patient Disposition Implementation Documents and implements patient disposition as ordered. Intake Assessment Documentation Obtains and documents an intake assessment in the electronic record; approval by licensed clinician when applicable. Patient Needs Reporting Reports patients' clinical needs to the psychiatrist on call. Communication Maintains good rapport with internal and external referral sources; facilitates communication with community facilities, agencies, and resources and makes appropriate referrals as needed.
