Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus 8111 S Emerson Ave Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 WHAT WE NEED Caring clinical therapy supervisor WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR At Franciscan Health, behavioral health covers body, mind and spirit. Our behavioral health care is planned and overseen by a patient-focused supervisor. Our Clinical Therapy Supervisor oversees continuity of patient care to understand and address the specific needs of that patient. It’s a traditional leadership job but with the added twist of ensuring patients find balance and receive compassionate, joyful care. Can you handle the special challenges of providing compassionate care? Do you communicate well with patients, families and fellow staff? Are you experienced in clinical behavioral health? We have a special place that needs your skills. WHAT YOU WILL DO Oversee documentation procedures, record requirements and reporting in accordance with regulatory, grants and accrediting bodies. Participate in HR activities for direct team members such as conducting performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and interviews. Supervise the work of others and manages the performance of individuals through feedback and recommendations. Teaches, takes continuing education classes, and attends conferences or seminars to increase understanding of mental, emotional, or behavioral states or disorders. Maintain good rapport with internal and external referral sources. Facilitate communication with community facilities, agencies and resources and makes appropriate referrals as needed. Complete behavioral health and substance use disorder assessments according to policy. Formulate and implement evidence based treatment plans. Provide ongoing clinical supervision to therapists. Directs, or administers psychotherapeutic treatments to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Collaborates with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professionals to create and implement patient treatment plans and progress. Act as a liaison between staff, patients, and physicians. WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED Social services experience required. Management or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of common diagnostic procedures and principles of quality patient care. Understanding of DSM-5. Customer service and time management skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
