Certification Details Licensed ARRT for the state of Illinois Job Details The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Job Requirements Must have : Licensed ARRT for the state of Illinois Experience scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures including coronary interventions and STEMIs Experience scrubbing pacemaker and defibrillator device implants Experience scrubbing interventional radiology procedures. MUST have ability to scrub cardiac cath cases and STEMI programs. Preferred or nice to have : Experience with specific procedures such as coronary thrombectomy, temporary pacemaker insertions, cardioversions, and more. Schedule Information Start Date : 12 / 1 Target Start Date : 7 / 6 / 2022 Shift times : varies 07 : 00-15 : 30, or 08 : 00-16 : 30 or 09 : 00-17 : 30 Call Requirements : 9-11 per month with one weekend Friday / Saturday / Sunday per month Block scheduling will be approved and the position will be 4x10 hour shifts. Unit Specific Information Unit : Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory / Interventional Laboratory Number of Beds – 4 procedure rooms, one of the four primarily used for EP studies, and Pacemaker and ICD device implants, 2 of the four rooms can be used cardiac catheterization, peripheral procedures and Interventional Radiology Procedures. 1 room primarily dedicated for interventional radiology minor procedures. 12 bed pre / post holding room Number of Staff – 4 RN FTEs manage Pre and Post, 6 RN FTEs for procedural rooms and 4 FTEs for radiology technologists Type of staff : RNs, RTs and one RCIS.
