WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Provide leadership for all Clinical Inpatient Units, Infection Prevention, and the Emergency Department. Serve as the clinical advisor in assuring compliance with regulatory agencies and managing physician, business, and community relationships. Work within a framework based on the American Nurses Association scope and standards of practice for Nursing Administration. Coordinate the implementation of Care Variation/COG initiatives including Care Maps and PI activities. Analyze metrics and processes related to Care Variation/COG activities and outcomes in order to identify and execute PI opportunities. Monitor and interpret clinical processes, outcome and financial data for management decisions. Participate in strategic planning for service line and facility growth. Initiate strategic, operational and other plans to achieve corporate, institutional and service line goals. Develop innovative solutions that address effective resource utilization and maintenance of quality. Analyze or direct the analysis of information for integrity and identification of clinical problems and issues in collaboration with multidisciplinary team. Coordinate the interdisciplinary clinical team needs with available resources for information and data for effective quality patient outcomes.
