Schedule Information
This role offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week, with opportunities for additional shifts based on unit needs. The shift schedule is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other Saturday and Sunday.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our medical-surgical/telenursing department, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, providing individualized care and support. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining accurate records, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- BLS certification is mandatory, with NIH certification also required.
- Telemetry experience is necessary, as well as Epic charting or similar EMR experience.
- Alaris IV pump experience is also essential for this role.

Unit Specific Information
- Patient types include observation and inpatient patients with common diagnoses such as chest pain, stroke, CHF, CKD, COPD, failure to thrive, alcohol withdrawal with CIWA <9, sickle cell crisis, cellulitis, sepsis.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize patient satisfaction and adapt to changing schedules.
