As a Registered Nurse in our Tele Med-Surg unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Role:
- This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with every other Saturday and Sunday off.
- The shift is 19:00-07:30, with no call requirements.
- You will be responsible for caring for patients with a range of medical conditions, including observation and inpatient cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide high-quality patient education and support to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and coordinate patient care activities.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med-Surg or Tele setting.
- BLS and NIH certifications are required.
- Epic charting or similar EMR experience is highly desirable.
- Alaris IV pump experience is also preferred.
