What you will do Patient Intervention Observes patient and intervenes as needed to prevent behaviors that may result in injury to the patient. Patient Communication Provides verbal support and reassurance to patients and their families by communicating with nursing staff to promote patient safety Job Duty Paperwork Documents within Epic any pertinent information related to job duties as required. Patient Services Records/reports observations and activities, provides verbal direction and redirection based on patient behavior Patient Information Communication Communicates and reports patient data and information to the RN to ensure appropriate and timely care is provided to the patient. Patient Monitoring Continuously observes the patient and notifies nursing staff of the need for patient assistance to maintain a safe environment for the patient. Troubleshoots Troubleshoots problems with equipment and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient monitoring of patients. Reports Ensures staff promptly report any patient risk incidents and grievances from families regarding service quality, acting as a liaison to resolve these concerns effectively. Patient Monitoring When necessary, monitors the patient at bedside and notifies nursing staff of the need for patient assistance or need to leave the patient's bedside, to maintain a safe environment for the patient.
