Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus 1701 S Creasy Ln Lafayette, Indiana 47905 At Franciscan, the Monitor Technician maintains surveillance of telemetry unit; Interprets and documents cardiac rhythms; notifies appropriate personnel of information and emergencies; and coordinates patient care and emergency protocols to ensure individual physician protocols are adhered to. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Maintains surveillance of telemetry unit and alarm documentation. Provides telemetry strips to ensure accurate monitoring of patient condition. Interprets and documents cardiac rhythms and notifies appropriate personnel of information and emergencies. Prepares daily and cumulative ECG reports and documents patient care information to ensure timely and accurate completion of patient records in accordance with policies and procedures. As required by unit, verifies inventory levels; orders, receives, and stores supplies and equipment; and maintains inventory and equipment logs. This position is a part-time day shift (6 am-6:30 pm) position.
