MUSC Requirements: The position requires minimum training of an M.D./D.O. degree and completion of residency training in radiology/nuclear medicine. Certification (or eligibility) by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. Applicant must have a residency or fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine and the ability to obtain a permanent South Carolina medical license before starting the position. There are 44 Diagnostic Radiology residents, 8 Interventional/Diagnostic Radiology residents, 4 Independent Interventional residents, and one nuclear medicine resident. There are 4 ACGME fellowships in neuroradiology and non-ACGME fellowships, 3 in breast imaging/mammography, 1 in MSK, 3 in body imaging, and 2 in cardiothoracic.
