This role ensures Apprentices receive the necessary education, skills, and support to excel in their careers within MUSC Health. Key Responsibilities: 1. Apprentice Recruitment & Onboarding Assist in the recruitment and selection of Apprentices for Apprenticeship programs. Manage administrative tasks related to registering Apprentices and preparing them for orientation with Human Resources. Ensure all required documentation and compliance requirements are met before program enrollment. 2. CNA Training & Instruction Provide Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training that aligns with SC Department of Health and Human Services guidelines. Deliver engaging and comprehensive instruction to equip Apprentices with the skills necessary for success. Assess Apprentice performance through evaluations, tests, and hands-on demonstrations. 3. Apprentice Development & Support Provide guidance and mentorship to ensure Apprentices develop the necessary competencies to excel in patient care roles. Monitor Apprentice progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Encourage a positive learning environment that fosters confidence and professional development. 4. On-the-Job Training Coordination Work with department leaders to source and assign Preceptors for Apprentices' On-the-Job training hours. Ensure Preceptors are prepared and equipped to effectively mentor Apprentices. Monitor and track Apprentices' progress throughout their On-the-Job training experiences. 5. Collaboration & Program Support Work closely with the Workforce Development Coordinator to ensure Apprentices receive the necessary resources and support. Communicate regularly with Workforce Development leadership to address challenges and improve program outcomes. Participate in program planning and continuous improvement efforts to enhance training quality and effectiveness. Experience: Experience in healthcare education, workforce development, or a related field. Knowledge of CNA training requirements and SC Department of Health and Human Services guidelines. Strong instructional, mentorship, and communication skills. Ability to coordinate training programs and work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Commitment to supporting the professional growth and success of Apprentices. Additional Job Description Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
