We are currently seeking a Night Shift licensed Mechanic 310T for our growing team in Aurora. Key Offerings: 100% Employer-paid benefits program Group Retirement Savings Plan with Company Matching a percentage Profit Sharing Paid Vacation Shift Incentive Boot Allowance Tool Allowance Uniforms Provided Permanent full-time role Opportunities for Overtime Opportunities for Advancement Optional Weekend work available at the discretion of Management Key Responsibilities: Performs repairs and preventive maintenance services Performs inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate and assign repairs Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns Conducts safety checks on all vehicles and equipment Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associates with repairing vehicles, documenting part usage and accounting for repair times Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with corporate / OHSA standards Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures Working alongside apprentices to provide them with assistance and guidance Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: 310T Truck and Coach License registered with Skilled Trades Ontario Valid “G” driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work Own tools are required Experience with welding will be considered an asset Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Applicants with 3 years’ experience will be viewed with priority #GFLTALENT We thank you for your interest.
