High Pressure Cleaning Technicians

Position Summary GFL Industrial Services is seeking motivated and adaptable High Pressure Cleaning Technicians for our Edmonton team. As part of the industrial services division, you will assist in a variety of high-pressure cleaning tasks across multiple industrial sites. You must be eager to learn, open to challenges, and capable of working in dynamic environments. Key Responsibilities Assist in the safe operation, setup, and rigging of high-pressure equipment (10k to 40k PSI) and tools such as Stoneage HP equipment. Handle site preparation, equipment setup, and demobilization, including packing, cleaning, and debris removal. Work at heights and in confined spaces across various industrial settings (chemical plants, refineries/upgraders, pulp mills, SAGD, gas plants). Perform confined space entry and detailed cleaning tasks. Support vacuum and hydro-vac operations, handling swamping duties, and rigging of vac hoses and standpipes. Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs). Complete and submit work reports via cell phone as required. Foreman duties during shutdowns are available to experienced candidates, with potential pay increases for those managing small jobs. Requirements High-pressure experience (10k to 40k PSI) is required. Flexibility for after-hours work and last-minute callouts. Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions. Availability for shutdowns lasting up to 2 months on a 6-days-on, 1-day-off schedule. Experience in industrial settings such as chemical refineries, pulp mills, gas plants, and SAGD is an asset. Prior experience in foreman or leadership roles during shutdowns is a plus. Skills and Qualifications Ability to adapt to changing environments and perform well under pressure. Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
