Industrial Cleaning Field Supervisor

GFL is looking for experienced Industrial Field Supervisors to join our team for various short and long term shutdown projects in Western Canada. The Candidate would work closely with project managers to ensure all projects are done safely and on schedule. This position offers seasonal employment starting in the spring with potential to work late into the fall with the possibility of extensions. Our Services: High Pressure Cleaning Storage Tank Cleaning Chemical Cleaning Dredging What we Offer: Competitive compensation Travel, lodging and meal allowances Boot allowances Required Training Personal Protective Equipment Job Duties: Oversee work crew and monitor day to day performance Organize and delegate workers tasks Continuously monitor workers for performance and identify areas of improvement Establish and maintain GFL culture of “Save for Life” and ensure workers performance is in line with expectations Monitor schedule and project milestones Provide on the job training and mentor workers Intervene and coach workers on policies and procedures Experience and Qualifications: Leadership and team management skills Attention to detail Problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication skills Knowledge and expertise in industrial/chemical cleaning Time-management and organizational skills Ability to motivate a team Requires class 5 license, class 1 or 3 are an asset Working Conditions: Able to work nightshifts and up to 12 hour shifts, including in inclement weather.
