Job Title: EHS Coordinator Department: QA Compliance
Reports To: CEO FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
Responsible for establishing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety policies while ensuring compliance with R2v3, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards. Supports the Integrated Management System (IMS) and collaborates across departments—including HR, Logistics, Asset Recovery, Triage, Secure IT, and Shipping—to meet regulatory requirements. Reports to the CEO as a key member of the Operations Team.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Lead compliance efforts with OSHA, ISO, R2, and environmental regulations; develop and implement safety and quality assurance programs.
- Coordinate management meetings and strategic planning for regulatory and certification compliance.
- Conduct internal and vendor audits, hazard analyses, and incident investigations.
- Develop and deliver EHS training and onboarding for new hires; maintain up-to-date regulatory documentation.
- Manage documentation control in accordance with company certifications and legal requirements.
- Interface with federal and state agencies (OSHA, EPA, DOT); submit reports and ensure ongoing certification renewals.
- Manage PPE compliance, warehouse inspections, and monthly safety committee meetings.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- Associate’s degree (minimum)
- Exercise confidentiality related to company and employee information
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and procedures as well as experience with EHS, ISO, R2, and OSHA
