Summary
C2 Strategic Communications, one of the region’s largest public relations firms, is headquartered in Louisville with offices in Lexington, KY, Indianapolis, IN, and Nashville, TN. Our 35-person firm serves a diverse range of clients and projects across the region, using effective storytelling to strengthen communities and improve quality of life.
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts and manage our marketing resources, while driving our expansion into new markets and developing innovative service offerings.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong analytical skills, and a passion for community impact. This role will involve crafting and executing effective marketing strategies, mentoring team members, and delivering measurable results for both our firm and our clients.
A strong understanding of digital marketing tools and trends, combined with an innovative and analytical mindset is essential for success in this role.

Essential duties and responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing strategies for company expansion and new service offeringsBuild brand awareness and connect our services with potential customersAnalyze marketing data and adjust strategies and tactics as neededCollaborate with the business development team to identify customer needs and develop service offeringsIdentify target audiences to drive qualified leadsManage and mentor marketing resourcesEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketing teamCreate marketing plans for external clients that align with our mission-driven approachDocument marketing processes and workflows with recommendations for improvements based on best practices.Develop regular market research reports highlighting trends, opportunities and recommendations.Measures of Success

Required
Minimum 6 years of marketing experience, preferably in-house at a professional services firm. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of advanced education, certifications, and demonstrated success in delivering impactful strategies. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for 1-2 years of experience, depending on its relevance.Proven track record in team managementProficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Meta and email marketing toolsStrong analytical skills for interpreting data and providing actionable insightsExcellent project management and communication skillsDemonstrated knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practicesExperience with SEO / SEM strategies and implementationAbility to thrive in an evolving, entrepreneurial environmentDesired Skills and Qualities
